The publication of the fourth edition of International Insolvency ... continues to expand its jurisdictional scope as well as its analysis on directors' and officers' duties in the "zone of insolvency." The recent global financial crisis, which resulted in a number of international companies becoming financiall distressed and seeking relief through insolvency filings, has highlighted deficiencies in the current international law and various domestic legislative structures in addressing the multitude of cross-border issues arising in the administration of a distressed global company.
